In the final analysis, it is a solid unit(MK2) and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an all in one solution. The unit is very responsive and latency is very low (10ms in traktor), good sound quality and looks very attractive (though it could have been a bit bigger ). I am a very happy user of it and I am a professional dj coming from vinyl in 1990 to cd decks 1997 to pcdj 2000 to traktor 2002. ![]() On Thursdays I play alongside a dj spinning american audio cd decks and a pioneer mixer (all analogue)and there is no noticeable difference in sound quality when we switch over. I think the Mk2 deserves good reviews as I play with it live every Thursday, Friday and Saturday and it is as stable as hell. Is there any other hercules MK2 user out there that scratches with their console or plays hip hop, dancehall? I have tried using 'scratch on' and 'scratch' to the same midi message but the result is undesirable. ![]() The problem is that scratch on and scratch are two different inputs, thus a scratch off message would also have to be thrown to stop the scratching.
